How does the PASM.AI AI receptionist work?

The AI receptionist connects to your phone line. When someone contacts you, it understands the request, asks relevant questions, and guides the conversation. It can capture contact details, answer common questions about your business, and where calendar integration is configured, schedule appointments directly.

Is PASM.AI just a chatbot?

No. PASM.AI works across phone conversations and focuses on capturing leads, qualifying enquiries, and helping convert them into booked appointments. It behaves much closer to a receptionist than a simple website assistant.

What products does PASM.AI include?

PASM.AI includes three core products — AI inbound calling for answering calls and enquiries, AI outbound calling for follow-ups and reminders, and an AI chat widget for websites. These can be used individually or together as a full communication system. Chat widget availability for external websites can be discussed during onboarding.

Can PASM.AI book appointments for my business?

When calendar integration is configured during onboarding, PASM.AI can check availability and confirm bookings during the call. Calendar integration is set up as part of your onboarding process.

Does PASM.AI work with my calendar?

PASM.AI integrates with compatible scheduling systems when set up during onboarding. Once connected, bookings made during calls appear in your calendar automatically.

Can I see conversation records after a call?

After each interaction, your portal shows caller details, date and time, call duration, status, and a record of what was discussed and actioned. If calendar integration is active, booking details are recorded too. If call recording is enabled, the recording is also available in your portal.

Does PASM.AI replace my receptionist?

Most businesses use PASM.AI to handle routine calls and enquiries alongside their team, not instead of them. It takes care of repetitive front-desk work so your staff can focus on higher-value tasks.

What languages can PASM.AI support?

PASM.AI currently operates in English. Additional language support is on our roadmap.

Is PASM.AI secure?

PASM.AI handles data according to its published privacy documents. We do not make public compliance certification claims unless those claims have been separately reviewed and approved. How long does PASM.AI setup take?

Most businesses are up and running within a few business days once setup information is submitted. The more complete your brief is at the start, the faster your setup moves.

What information do you need to set it up?

We typically need your business name and details, a description of your services, your preferred script or a brief we can work from, your opening hours, and any common questions customers ask. If calendar booking is part of your setup, calendar access is also needed.

Is there a setup fee?

Does PASM.AI support multiple languages?

Can PASM.AI integrate with CRM systems?

Can I receive SMS notifications for new leads?

Your team can be notified after new interactions are captured. Notification preferences are configured during onboarding. Contact us to discuss what notification options are available for your setup.

What happens if the AI cannot answer a question?

If the AI encounters a question outside its configured scope, it acknowledges the caller and captures their details so your team can follow up directly.

Can I customise the AI voice?

Yes. Voice options are selected during onboarding to match the tone of your business.

Can I listen to call recordings?

Call recording can be enabled for your account. When active, all parties are notified at the start of the call. Recordings are available to review in your portal. Whether to enable recording and how to manage it in compliance with local laws is your responsibility as the business.

What is lead qualification?

Lead qualification means asking a few questions during a call to determine whether the enquiry is a genuine potential customer. This helps businesses focus their follow-up attention on higher-value leads.

How does PASM.AI handle angry or difficult customers?

The AI is designed to respond calmly, gather the necessary information, and capture the caller's details so your team can follow up directly where the situation requires personal attention.

What is the difference between inbound and outbound calling?

Inbound calling means the AI answers calls coming into your business. Outbound calling means the AI proactively contacts customers for follow-ups, appointment reminders, or reactivation. Same platform, two directions of communication.

Does PASM.AI work on mobile phones?

What are appointment reminders?

Appointment reminders are automated calls made before a scheduled booking to help remind customers of their upcoming appointment. This supports more consistent attendance without your staff needing to chase everyone manually.

What happens to my data if I cancel?
